Looking for the perfect Christmas present to give this year? A gift basket is fun and easy to put together. All you need to do is find a basket or a Christmas container and put a few things in it. Make it extra special and beautiful by adding a fresh flower. Some things that you could put in the gift basket in addition to a bud vase with a single flower, (such as a red Gerber daisy, rose, or lily), include: a Christmas movie, a Christmas book, Christmas tree ornaments, holiday cookie cutters, and/or treats. You could also do different themed gift baskets. For different themes you could use include: snowmen, gingerbread men/women, Santa Clause, the Nativity, Christmas trees, or Reindeer.
For a snowman themed basket, include a storybook about a snowman, snowman cookie cutters, and snowman shaped cookies and treats. Decorate the basket with blue and white tissue paper. Include a bud vase with a white flower accented with cedar or pine. Maybe also include snowman ornaments, candles, and/or figurines. A snowglobe would be perfect. Be creative! If you are having trouble filling up your gift basket, just go to a store that sells holiday decorations. The items are usually sorted by theme, so all you have to do is put the items you see in your basket.
