Christmas Flower Arrangement in a Crystal Vase

Make a small fresh flower arrangement in a holiday crystal container. Use roses and chrysanthemums, or other red and white flowers. A small arrangement like this will be ideal for a centerpiece for a small table or just as home holiday decor.

There are a few ways to assemble such an arrangement. One way is to create a dutch spiral hand bouquet, and then cut the stems very short so the rest just above the rim of the container. Another way to assemble the arrangement is, after cutting the stems short, to place the flowers in the container, in a criss-cross fashion to hold them in place. Don't forget to clean the stems from thorns and leaves. Any leaves in the water will rot.
